A leading technology company seeks an experienced Sales & Solutions Engineer to support the Sales and Customer Success team. This role involves partnering with sales to demonstrate technical value, owning technical wins by leading workshops, and collaborating with product teams, ensuring key technical insights are conveyed to improve our offerings. Candidates should have 4+ years in B2B sales engineering, showcasing strong consultative skills and a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, ready to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
AtWooCommerce, we’re on a mission to democratize commerce. Millions of merchants around the world build their businesses with our open-source platform—and we’re scaling how we support them. WooCommerce already powers nearly 10% of all websites on the web. It’s instantly available to the WordPress hosting platform, which powers over 40% of the web today.
As one of the fastest growing areas of Automattic, we’re expanding. We’re looking for an experienced Sales & Solutions Engineer to join our Sales and Customer Success team and work directly with Sales Leadership. This role is critical to building on our momentum, driving new lands of high value merchants ($1M+ TPV), and shaping how we leverage the strengths of our product and technical expertise to get the technical win in the field. Additionally, this role will be working as needed with our Customer Success team to help retain and expand our existing high value merchant customers.
WooCommerce’s Sales & Solutions Engineering team is a charismatic, highly-respected group of technologists who are collaborative, visible, influential, and impactful. If you are a top performer, this is a chance to plug into a product with real market pull and help build and scale a modern, AI-augmented, technical sales-led growth motion. You’ll work complex deals with Account Executive partners, win marquee logos, and create expansion playbooks that others will follow. Bring your technical solutioning expertise, your sales and business acumen, your curiosity, and your conviction. We will back you with a platform merchants love, a team that plays to win, and the tools to make it happen.
