THE ROLE

At IGEL we know that the key to growth is in a high‑performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our team in Bremen to help turn leads into qualified opportunities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop opportunities from prospecting and marketing generated leads
  • Follow‑up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Interact with prospects and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential business opportunities in the market
  • Promoting and marketing IGELs business through extensive and persistent cold calling emails and other communication(s) tools to prospective clients
  • Create target prospects lists, penetrate key accounts and identify and contact key players
  • Profile strategic accounts researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Set up meetings and/or calls between (prospective) customers and our sales executives
  • Diligently update data into the CRM, stay on top of your leads follow-up and report
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–2 years of proven work experience in a similar role in business development or sales is an advantage
  • Career changers are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in the Virtualization (VDI) industry would be a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities; empathic listener and persuasive speaker
  • Must be a self‑starter, curious, analytical, detail‑oriented, resilient, a hunting character and have the proven ability to perform in a fast‑moving environment with minimal supervision
  • Proven creative problem‑solving approach and a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Must live and breathe start‑ups with broad responsibilities, crazy busy, embrace our team spirit, lots of responsibility and lots of fun
  • Excellent English and German language skills, both in written and verbal form
