Job Overview

We’re looking for a Sales & Customer Manager based in Germany to lead our commercial growth and help scale Exein’s presence across Europe. In this strategic role, you’ll focus on the industrial and manufacturing sectors, driving new business development with a hunter mindset while also expanding and strengthening existing customer relationships. You’ll own the entire sales cycle, collaborate with global teams, and act as a key ambassador for our cybersecurity solutions in automation, robotics, and secure embedded systems. As a core member of our expansion phase, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Exein’s European footprint and advancing the future of industrial cybersecurity.

Responsibilities
  • Drive customer acquisition and growth across Europe, with a strong focus on new business development in the manufacturing, automation, robotics, and industrial control sectors.
  • Expand and consolidate our existing customer base, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities while nurturing long‑term strategic relationships.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing, ensuring a seamless and customer‑centric process.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships within the manufacturing, automation, robotics, and industrial control sectors, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our Tech and Marketing teams to tailor value propositions, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategies for the DACH and broader EMEA regions.
  • Represent Exein at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events, positioning our solutions as a benchmark for embedded and industrial cybersecurity.
  • Leverage your professional network across the European industrial ecosystem to identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide structured market feedback to internal teams to inform product innovation and align commercial strategies with customer needs.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales in cybersecurity, embedded software, industrial platforms, or secure control systems, ideally with exposure to firmware-level solutions.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing technology environments, including PLCs, edge devices, RTOS, Linux, and hardware-based security architectures.
  • Proven track record in enterprise tech sales, combining a hunter mindset for acquiring new customers with a farmer approach to growing and retaining existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Native German speaker with professional fluency in English.
  • Well‑connected within the European industrial and manufacturing ecosystem, with the ability to leverage existing relationships.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe to meet clients and partners.
