Your mission
As our Sales & Business Development Manager for European Business Wallet (EBW), you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint across Europe by driving sales initiatives, negotiating and closing commercial agreements, working on strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of trusted digital ecosystems - especially around EBW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive targeted sales campaigns for relevant use cases of the EU Business Wallet, like KYC, KYS, AML, Compliance, Data Spaces, Agentic AI, etc.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of B2B opportunities directly and with our partner ECO-System
- Lead the initiation and execution of commercial agreements with enterprise clients, consortia, and public institutions, and deliver on assigned sales quota.
- Work with strategic partners across industries in cooperation with our partner management to drive Spherity’s identity projects
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to align market needs with product development
- Monitor trends in digital identity, SSI, and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., eIDAS 2.0, EU Business Wallet)
- Monitor important customer projects
Your profile
- Experience: Proven sales & BD experience and track record with a minimum of 4 years in sales & business development in a software environment.
- Skills:
- Ability to build new relationships with potential clients using value-selling methodologies
- Deal negotiation and closing experience in complex B2B, B2G environments.
- Strong understanding of digital identity, Web3, or enterprise SaaS is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at C-levels
- Familiarity with EU digital policy frameworks, especially eIDAS, EU Business Wallet, AFP & AFI
- Team player with a high level of self-motivation and relentless focus on achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with the requirements of a sales process, like CRM Hygiene, and regular reporting of sales results
- Can-do attitude in an agile international team.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach to work
- Working experience partnering with Consulting Firms and System Integrators on common projects
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude and a passion for innovation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Language: Fluent in German and English, any other EU languages are a plus.
- Location: Remote, based in Germany, is a strong plus.
