Expert for Product Inspection of Radioactive Waste (m/f/d/x)

As of now

Review and assessment of documentation for the final disposal of radioactive waste products and packages intended for the Konrad repository

Preparation of inspection reports in German

Quality control of inspection reports

Compliance with applicable legal regulations and the requirements set by relevant supervisory, expert, and licensing authorities, as well as all relevant standards, guidelines, and other regulations, and the procedural and project instructions for project execution (e.g., Engineering Handbook)

Management of project-related data and relevant technical knowledge

Coordination with colleagues, authorities, and submitters regarding the documentation to be reviewed

Participation in specialized training events

Independent processing of work assignments within the specified timeframe and deadlines in accordance with the applicable work instructions for each assignment

Handling of changes (e.g., project change notifications) in accordance with project execution and quality assurance rules as outlined in the project management and quality management manuals

Preparation of presentations for work meetings, contributions to conferences, etc.

Your profile

Completed university degree in a scientific or engineering field

Experience in the above-mentioned area preferred

Knowledge in nuclear technology/radiation protection is an advantage

Ability to work in a team

Proficiency in German (C1) required

Willingness to travel required
