Research Assistant – PDE & Machine Learning (FAU DCN‑AvH)

Position within the "Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning, and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship (FAU DCN‑AvH)" led by Prof. Enrique Zuazua. The role focuses on research in PDEs and machine learning, with collaboration, mentoring, and some teaching duties.

Key Details

• Duration: Initially up to two (2) years with possibility of extension.
• Salary: Competitive international annual gross salary following German TV‑L (A13 / E 13) scale.
• Location: Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany.
• Start Date: Preferably January 15, 2026 (adaptable to selected candidates).

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on PDEs and machine learning applications.
• Collaborate with the Chair and mentor PhD/postdoctoral candidates.
