A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, we are transforming the future of cardiac care. To support the acceleration of the Affera™ Mapping & Ablation System, we are looking for a Regional Marketing Lead to drive commercial momentum for one of the most innovative platforms in electrophysiology.

The Regional Marketing Lead will be responsible for driving the commercial marketing execution for the Affera platform in Germany, while supporting regional best practice sharing across the GIGA region (Germany, Israel, Greece and Alpine countries).

This entails the establishment of local marketing plans for Germany, close engagement with the sales organization, customer segmentation, and the development and execution of marketing campaigns. The role will also lead product launch execution to ensure successful adoption of Affera innovations, as well as local promotional activities, regional customer engagements, and local congress and event organization.

The individual is a hands-on marketer with a strong execution mindset, able to work closely with sales teams, European marketing colleagues and customers to drive effective commercial activation.

This position will support the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit in advancing our capability to disrupt and lead the electrophysiology market. This role is a remote role. Full Measles immunization is a requirement to fill the open position.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution of the local Affera marketing and activation plan for Germany in close partnership with sales, clinical and training teams
  • Drive market adoption through customer programs, peer-to-peer initiatives, workshops and targeted field activation
  • Translate customer needs and market insights into impactful marketing initiatives that support platform growth
  • Support the sales organization with positioning, customer segmentation, competitive insights and value messaging
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key electrophysiology centers and opinion leaders in Germany
  • Coordinate local product launches, campaigns and field enablement programs in alignment with regional and global marketing
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences or Business
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, ideally in medical device and rhythm management
  • Proven self-starter with strong project execution and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong communicator, able to build relationships across cultures, functions and seniority levels
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand clinical and technical topics and turn data into insights
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willing to travel 30–50%

Experience in electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management, medical devices or capital equipment markets is a strong advantage, as well as prior exposure to product launches or hospital-level commercial environments.
