eleQtron develops and operates full‑stack quantum computers based on trapped‑ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser‑cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement error mitigation techniques for ion trap quantum computers
• Create quantum software for optimizing gate sequences on ion trap quantum computer
• Write clear and understandable code and documentation
• Stay updated on the latest research in various Quantum platforms for Benchmarking
• Address research questions and document results in reports or scientific publications

Required Skills

• MSc or PhD in (theoretical) physics, mathematics, or related field, specializing in quantum information processing
• Deep understanding of quantum computation, quantum information, error mitigation techniques, quantum error correction codes, and stabilizer formalism
• Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks like Qutip, Cirq, or Qiskit
• Proven track record in quantum computing, particularly implementing algorithms in a NISQ era
• Fluency in English
