Job Description : An opportunity for a Project Quality Manager (PQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Defence Digital Quality Germany Team in Friedrichshafen / Immenstaad or Ulm.

The position holder is in charge of the end to end Quality Management for selected Defence Digital ( software and hardware) driven Programs / Projects.

As a Project Quality Manager you will play a key role in meeting and exceeding customer expectation by managing the interface to the customer quality representative and contributing to On Quality, On Time and On Cost delivery.

Your mission (Tasks and responsibilities)

As a Project Quality Manager you will be responsible for

• Plan, monitor, execute Quality Management project activities like developing the Quality Plan and implementing quality requirement from customer contract
• Be the Customer / authorities Quality focal point
• Conduct reviews for assessing maturity of deliverables
• Promote Quality awareness within the project teams
• Tailor processes inline with the Business Management System
• Perform or orchestrate all Quality roles incl. budget
• Foster a preventive mindset by anticipating potential Non Quality and
• Manage Non Conformities incl. Root Cause Analysis so that we protect the Customer
• Enable and initiate improvement across projects and programs
