In manufacturing, every second – and every detail – matters. At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in AD Finkenwerder, you’ll be working at the heart of A350 production. As a Production Engineer, you’ll ensure that processes run smoothly, materials arrive on time, and issues are resolved before they become problems. You will coordinate, plan, and analyze processes to create the foundation for on-time delivery and a disruption-free manufacturing line. This role is ideal for professionals who understand technology and are ready to take responsibility.
The gross annual salary ranges from €64,000 to €67,500, depending on qualifications. Please note that only candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) will be considered.

Tasks
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical system installations in series production
- Ensure smooth deliveries without open work packages to France
- Handle non-conformities and create technical documentation for process disruptions
- Manage material call-offs based on demand schedules and escalate delays via procurement
- Plan scheduling, station management, and monitor missing parts before station start
- Create work plans in SAP, especially for process steps PEA S02/S03 (Production Engineering Activities) for modifications and repairs
- Analyze and cluster recurring disruptions using tools such as PALANTIR TANDEM, SPARROW, EXPLORER
- Participate in projects (e.g., non-conformity handling in takt-based production) and provide technical consultation within the shopfloor team
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Alternatively: Certified technician or business administrator (Techniker / Fachwirt)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, production planning/control, and initial experience in work preparation and supply chain/logistics
- Proficient in SAP, SAP R/3, Catia V5, zamiz, and Google Workspace
- Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
- Willing to work in a 2-shift system, alternating weekly
- Willing to travel approximately 2 weeks per year, mainly to France
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU is mandatory
