Our client is looking for a Procurement Expert in charge of Procurement Metrics & Regulatory Reporting. This role is ideal for an Operational Procurement profile, familiar with Procurement Processes and Tools, specifically SAP S / 4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Procurement

• You will work alongside the Head of Procurement, shaping governance frameworks, refining processes, and pushing forward improvement projects. You’ll take ownership of multiple workstreams, diagnosing issues, designing solutions, and driving them through to execution.

Procurement Process Mastery

• You will support the full procurement cycle and ensure it aligns with internal standards. As a Coupa power user, you’ll guide Category Managers and external partners through P2P and contract workflows while using the platform’s analytics to steer decisions. You may also spearhead enhancements to the tool itself, including onboarding new modules or features.

Data & Insight Leadership

• You will build the reporting backbone for the procurement function, creating dashboards and analytical views for both internal teams and business partners. You’ll pull together complex data from systems like Coupa and SAP, transforming it into a unified view of spend, savings, contract activity, market indicators, benchmarks, and any analysis tied to current strategic priorities.

Cross-Functional Impact

• You will work closely with Group Finance to track and validate savings projects. You’ll also support leadership with targeted data work and practical recommendations related to Portfolio Management, Sales, and demand planning.

Team Dynamics

• You invest in strong, genuine working relationships earning trust and building rapport with colleagues and stakeholders alike.

What we are looking for :

Language Capability

• You are fluent in English and German, and any additional European language, French, Italian is an advantage.

Education

• A degree in Business, Economics, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain / Procurement, Operational Excellence, or a comparable field is preferred. That said, a strong mix of experience and relevant study will be weighed just as seriously.

Technical Strength

• You are naturally tech-oriented and ideally have hands‑on experience as a Key User of a procurement platform Coupa or SAP Ariba along with familiarity with SAP ERP. You’re comfortable in Excel and curious about emerging technologies, including AI in procurement. A foundational understanding of system architecture (server vs. client, datacentre environments, software layers) is a welcome bonus.

• You think analytically and work with precision. You are thorough, dependable, and motivated to learn and refine existing processes. You can translate complex concepts for different audiences and shift your communication style to fit the room.
