Develop innovative processes and set new standards in automated surface treatment of components and post-treatment of process materials.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• New planning of an automated surface treatment system for vacuum interrupter components, including post-treatment

• Analysis of the current status of existing processes and systems in the area of surface treatment

• Development and implementation of optimized, validated cleaning methods and agents

• Technological support of the department, evaluation of rationalization potential and identification of innovative solutions

• Preparation of specifications for new systems and selection of suitable suppliers, as well as implementation of the projects and commissioning of the systems

• Identification, development, and implementation of environmental protection projects

Qualifications for the role

• Completed training as a state-certified technician - specializing in electroplating technology or a degree with a focus on electrochemistry, electroplating technology, or surface technology

• In-depth knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and thermodynamics

• Experience in technical electrochemistry, reaction engineering, and chemicals law

• Knowledge of plant engineering, chemical apparatus construction, and coating technology

• Experience in mechanical process engineering as well as safety and environmental technology

• Initial practical experience in the planning, implementation, and commissioning of systems in a comparable environment is an advantage
