Offer Description
  • Independent research within the framework of the DFG project “Cultural Memory in Crisis” with an individual qualification project focusing on “Digital Cultural Memory” in the context of architecture
  • Presentation, discussion and publication of individual research results within the framework of the DFG project and at other scientific events
  • Scientific coordination of the project’s research data management (RDM)
  • Responsibility for teaching in the Research Master Studies of the DFG project (2 SWS)
  • Contribution to the DFG project’s transfer activities (including preparation of own research for transfer, communication with project members and external co-researchers)
  • Support for the monthly colloquia of the “Digital Cultural Memory” research unit
  • University degree (master’s level) and excellent doctoral degree in architecture, digital humanities, art history, media anthropology, experimental computer science, design or comparable discipline
  • Research experience in the field of cultural memory and/or digital culture in the context of architecture
  • Knowledge of digital practices, processes and strategies in architecture as well as generative design and AI is desirable
  • Ideally, experience as a research assistant at a university, university of applied sciences, or other research institution
  • Knowledge of planning and conducting academic courses
  • Experience in event management (e.g., organisation of scientific conferences or workshops) is welcome
  • Ideally, skills in handling RDM processes and data repositories
  • Experience with academic committee work is an advantage
  • Confident use of common MS Office programmes
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Reliability and a careful, analytical and cooperative approach to work
