A leading academic institution in Düsseldorf is offering a fixed-term academic position focused on research in Empirical Microeconomics or International Economics and teaching in Economics programmes. The role requires a completed university education and a PhD in the relevant field, along with excellent knowledge of theoretical and empirical methods. This position promotes scientific qualification and aims to foster diversity among its employees.
The employment is limited to a period of three years, starting on April 1st, 2026. It is a qualification position in the sense of the Act on Fixed-Term Employment Contracts in Academia (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz-WissZeitVG), which is to promote the scientific qualification of the employee.
The pay scale grouping will be, depending on the personal qualification of the applicant, up to pay grade 13 TV-L. In principle, the employment can also take place part-time, if no compelling official reasons are opposed in an individual case.
