Your tasks
  • You create, maintain, and monitor detailed project timelines together with project and functional leads (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing)
  • You integrate sub-project schedules into one overall timeline structure that covers all program phases – from concept and development to launch
  • You track project progress, identify deviations early, and support recovery planning
  • You conduct regular timing reviews with stakeholders and keep an eye on risks and bottlenecks
  • You prepare and present timing reports, milestone charts, Gantt charts and other visual planning tools for project teams and senior management, and support gate reviews, launch readiness assessments, and executive reporting
  • You use project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Cplace, or internal systems) to maintain schedules
  • You develop and improve standard PMO templates, processes, and guidelines related to planning and scheduling
  • You align with cross-functional teams and support resource and milestone planning to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate risks
Your profile
  • You have a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a comparable field
  • You bring at least 2–5 years of experience in project management or project planning – ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry, preferably with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • You’re familiar with automotive product development processes (e.g., APQP, V-Model, PEP) and milestone-driven development in complex, cross-functional environments
  • You’re confident using project management and scheduling tools and ideally have experience with Agile and/or Hybrid project management methods
  • You work in a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented way
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate easily across teams
  • You have a proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • You understand risk management and change control principles
  • You speak fluent English; German is a plus
