Tasks

We are seeking an Android full stack developer to help a young startup develop, implement, and test mobility software solutions for various projects to go live for our customers in North America and Asia.

This position will start on a part-time basis for the first few months, with the potential to transition into a full-time role with relocation and a working visa, depending on the candidate’s preference.

Candidates should have around 8 years of experience and be proficient in mobile app programming with a successful track record.

Your Role:

• Conduct thorough requirement analysis.
• Design and implement robust application architectures.
• Integrate with external APIs and web services.
• Ensure data synchronization and optimal performance.
• Write and execute unit tests to maintain application reliability.
• Deploy applications to the App Store and manage releases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Stay updated on the latest Android development trends and best practices.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and bug fixes.

Requirements

Your Profile:

• Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and React Native (both Community and Expo).
• Proven analytical skills and experience with complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection.
• Understanding of Protocol-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with various Android frameworks.
• Knowledge of different Software design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience shipping one or more Native and React Native apps, ideally available on the App Store.
• Ability to write clean, SOLID code and ship quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with version control systems like Git or TFS is also desirable.
