HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Operations Planner that will have demonstrated experience in operations planning, that may fit into various operational fields to include: IAMD, JADC2/Defensive Cyber, Information Operations, ISR Operations. This role will provide U-A/A5M Subject Matter Expert across the mission area developing, planning, integrating, training, and executingIntegrated Air and Missile Defense. What you will do
  • Analyzes Political, Military, Economic, Social Information, and Infrastructure (PMESII) factors influencing military and political strategy, the planning and execution of military operations, and the impact of domestic and foreign policy on JADC2, Air Defense (AD) and Missile Defense (MD) integration within the AOR
  • Provides analytical expertise to integrate U-A regional strategies into the operational planning and crisis action planning processes
  • Coordinates the development of OPLANS, EXORDS, and crisis action planning orders documentation, as well as OPT membership and CONPLAN re-writes
  • Provides IAMD operational planning input and research products to support Joint Lessons Learned (JLL) databases
  • Provides analysis within the IAMD, or JADC2 planning process to devise courses of action for the employment of equipment, weapons, tactics and strategy, doctrine, organization, training and facilitates to achieve mission accomplishment
  • Provides joint military decision-making process (JMDMP) planning and operations support for the development, planning, coordination, management, and execution of U-A’s IAMD/ JADC2 mission and theater objectives
  • Provide operational, exercise, engagement planning, and subject matter expert (SME) support to identify and integrate joint all domain command and control (JADC2) systems and capabilities into a U.S. Component air operations center (AOC)
  • Advise the Area Air Defense Commander (AADC) and supporting components on joint and allied air, space and missile defense, joint interface control, command and control (C2) datalink architectures, and operational functional area expertise on JADC2 operations and network implementation
  • Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
  • Individual must have prior experience in Operational planning concepts, and employment
  • Must have prior experience in Joint Planning Process as it applies to the subject matter role they are filling
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Associates with a minimum of 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR recognized major industry certification with at least 7 years of recent specialized experience; OR a total of 11 years of recent specialized experience without a degree or certification
  • Background in DoD IAMD capabilities highly desired
  • Background in JADC2 operational capabilities highly desired
  • Information operations concepts and operational planning desired
Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
