Role Scope

As Operations Manager, you will oversee plant replacement and retrofit projects on data centres across Europe, including CSA and M&E works. This multi‑site role involves managing diverse projects at varying scales and stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee tender processes and pipeline strategies for future projects.
  • Foster collaboration between head office and sites for continuous improvement.
  • Identify skill gaps and lead recruitment and training initiatives.
  • Motivate and support teams to achieve goals.
  • Manage budgets, costs, and a team of project managers across multiple sites.
  • Ensure adherence to contracts, policies, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report to senior management.
  • Drive safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Handle disputes, change management, and innovative solutions.

  • Proven background in managing construction projects and teams with a deep understanding of the construction process from start to finish.
  • Willingness to be actively involved on‑site, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise while not hesitating to get hands‑on when needed.
  • Strong focus on ensuring safety standards are consistently met across all projects, with in‑depth knowledge of industry health and safety regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, essential for overseeing related works on‑site and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative and efficient team environment, with excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to think critically and resolve issues swiftly to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and improving overall efficiency.
