Job Description

As an Operations Analyst (m/f/d), you will play a key role in enhancing the automation and monitoring capabilities of our B2C and B2B operations within the second line of defense. Collaborating closely with colleagues from Operations, Key Account Management, Product, Tech, and Finance, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing solutions to streamline daily processes. Additionally, you will identify and analyze operational issues, providing actionable insights and driving the implementation of effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a second line of defense for B2B inquiries, working closely with our Key Account Managers as well as Product and Accounting Teams on SCAYLE Payments related topics
• Develop data models and KPI dashboards based on operational data to enable complex analyses for our Operations Team as well as the senior management
• Investigate operational issues from a data driven perspective together with your Operations and Product teams
• Conduct complex quantitative analysis using SQL and other data sets, including financial, operational, and transactional payment data
• Provide feedback to the Product and Finance Team, identifying areas for improvements and optimization

Qualifications

• University degree or similar in Business Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field
• Embrace learning and exploration of new technologies and tools
• Relevant working experience in data analytics or similar roles, with a strong passion for problem-solving
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, and also experience with log analytics (e.g., Datadog)
• Keen interest in solving data integration issues and an ability to learn independently
• Be a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented team player, with strong communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English, being able to confidently explain complex topics and expressing ideas, even without being a native speaker
• Experience in fintech and/or operations is a plus
