Overview

Mid-Level Project Management Specialist - Customer Integration at Boeing Deutschland GmbH - BDG. The Customer Program Management (CPM) team is focused on managing product delivery execution of the modification Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for Avionics, Interiors, Connectivity, and Airplane Performance/Systems to provide maximum lifecycle value. The CPM team manages all program relationships and interactions with customers (internal and external), in collaboration with Boeing Sales and Marketing teams (BCA and BGS) and Modification Product Line teams to execute on delivery commitments and drive growth to meet or exceed the business plan. This role focuses on delivering a market leading total customer experience and building customer trust in our ability to execute against Modification commitments.

We are currently seeking a Project Management Specialist - Level 3 within the Customer Program Management team in Hamburg, Germany. This role focuses on planning and executing BGS Modifications customer engagements for Eurasia Region customers to build customer trust. This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting; on-site presence is typically required at a minimum of 3 days per week, with periodic travel to engage with product line teams in Long Beach, CA; Dublin and Frimley; and customer locations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prime point of customer contact for contracted engineering changes with Boeing Modification Services.
• Manage customer expectations and deliverables, including robust communications and performance-to-plan updates.
• Prime focal for Modification Statement of Work and integration of all related engineering activities.
• Responsible for comprehensive execution of schedule through Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) management.
• Use written and communication skills to effectively develop product and services statements of work that satisfy customer requests.
• Identify and manage future changes to statements of work and incorporate lessons learned for future product and service offerings.
• Upon customer acceptance of a product or service, lead customer engagement, manage performance metrics to plan, identify resources required and identify alternate solutions to maintain or improve schedule while coordinating with internal and external customers.
• Maintain close interaction with Engineering, Materials, Modification Leadership, and Airworthiness/Safety functions to foster Boeing internal relationships across Modification Services and the Enterprise.
• Support Eurasia Region Operator customers across.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a role requiring project/program management skills and a good understanding of aircraft systems and modifications.
• 3+ years' experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities.
• 3+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.
• 3+ years' experience developing and delivering project & program updates to senior leaders.
• Bachelor's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is a plus.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience with Engineering, Modifications, Proposal development and Contracts.
