Jobbeschreibung
Who We Are:

We are a rapidly growing embodied AI company revolutionizing human labor. Leveraging cutting‑edge robotics and advanced artificial intelligence, we develop transformative technologies that redefine how work is done across multiple industries—empowering businesses to streamline operations, boost productivity, and unlock new possibilities.

Overview:

We are looking for a hands‑on mechatronics technician to support the build, installation, and optimization of our robotic systems. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and aligning mechanical components both in our lab and on customer sites. You will work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration, resolve mechanical issues, and continuously improve new and existing systems in real‑world warehouse environments.

Your Responsibilities:

Installation & Integration

  • Assemble and install mechanical components for robotic workstations and peripheral equipment (frames, conveyors, guarding, mounts, fixtures).

  • Align, secure, and mechanically commission systems in our robotics lab and at customer locations.

  • Install and adjust pneumatic and mechanical subsystems (e.g. grippers, cylinders, valves, brackets)

  • Train and oversee subcontractors during deployments (assisting with technical knowledge and project guidance)

  • Work closely with our electrical and software engineers to ensure proper mechanical integration of the full system

  • Implement mechanical improvements and modifications based on feedback from deployments and on‑site performance.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues (vibrations, misalignment, wear, loose components, etc.) during build, testing, and deployment.

  • Plan and support deployments, on‑site upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on installed systems.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Completed technical training (e.g. State-certified Technician in Mechatronics Engineering, or Automation) or a comparable vocational qualification (e.g. Mechatronics Technician, or similar)

  • Experience in special machine building, automation, robotics, or industrial installations is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable working on‑site at customer facilities, including warehouses and production environments.

  • Willingness to travel: ≈ 25‑50%

Skills

  • Strong practical skills in mechanical assembly, installation, and adjustment of machinery and equipment.

  • Confident in reading and working from mechanical drawings, exploded views, and assembly instructions.

  • Hands‑on mentality, high attention to detail, and a structured, safety‑conscious way of working.

  • Experience with pneumat (tubing, fittings, cylinders, valves) is a plus.

  • Valid Class B driver’s license (EU)

Our interview plan:
  • Application

  • Take‑home assignment: You’ll work on a short, role‑relevant task with clear instructions and a deadline.

  • Cultural fit interview (40 min): A conversation about how you work, what motivates you, and what you’re looking for. Expect CV highlights, your “why,” and time for your questions.

  • Technical fit interview (45 min): A deeper dive into your skills and problem‑solving approach for this role.

  • On‑site visit: Meet the team in our office and collaborate on a real challenge similar to the work you’d do here. You’ll also meet a founder; we aim to give you a clear feel for the role and environment.

What We Offer:
  • Wellpass (gym membership)

  • Free meals at the workplace

  • Flexible working hours

  • Option to work from home when needed

  • A motivated team and an open corporate culture

  • Competitive compensation and excellent career development opportunities
