Job Description

• Responsibility for the development of mechanical components and assemblies – from the initial idea to series production
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop sustainable product solutions
• Technology evaluation and selection for the systematic resolution of technical challenges
• Management of the entire prototyping process – from CAD to validated prototypes
• Technical coaching within the department to promote expertise and team competence

Qualifications

• Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical design
• Good knowledge of electronics required
• Very good CAD skills for modeling and creating drawings
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), as well as Jira and Confluence, is an advantage
• Independent and accurate work combined with a hands‑on mentality, as well as extensive organizational and communication skills
• High problem‑solving skills in collaboration with various departments
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
