About The Apprenticeship

• A 3 year programme, achieving a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician qualification with a mechanical bias
• Working on site Monday to Friday
• Attend College of West Anglia in King’s Lynn once a week
• Progress into a junior engineer position
• Starting in summer 2026

About You

• Excellent communication skills, well organized and motivated to independent studies
• A minimum of English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 / A*-C
• Be living and eligible to work in the UK
• Good IT Skills, in particular MS Office applications
• Interest in mechanical theory and practical application

What Will You Learn

• Condition monitoring of process equipment
• Routine maintenance of a variety of mechanical equipment (pumps, gearboxes, agitators)
• Gain knowledge about lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Develop diagnostic skills for troubleshooting and fault finding
• Gain knowledge of engineering theories and principles
• Understand the maintenance and operational practices as well as site procedures and policies around working safely
