The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and results‑oriented Marketing Operations Manager to manage the marketing technology stack (MarTech stack). This role is a perfect fit for someone who focuses on leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, automate processes and ensure flawless execution from start to finish. You’ll be the architect of our MarTech stack, streamlining everything.

Key Responsibilities
  • MarTech Stack: take ownership of all our marketing tools including HubSpot CRM, Google Analytics and ensure integration with external tools such as Make, Luma, Pretix, MailChimp and more.
  • Design, build and continuously optimise CRM workflows and automation processes to improve efficiency and scale customer engagement.
  • Lead on database management, segmentation and audience targeting to maximise campaign effectiveness.
  • Digital Campaigns & Performance Marketing: plan and execute multi‑channel event marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns, SEO initiatives and cross‑channel advertising.
  • Implement and optimise tracking and reporting in GA4 to measure event success and provide actionable insights.
  • Work closely with the wider business to deliver paid media campaigns, audience insights, email marketing and digital system optimisation.
  • Technology & Event Platforms: manage ticketing systems (e.g. Pretix) and streamline attendee data across all platforms.
  • Support the delivery of digital events, event apps and hybrid/virtual experiences to ensure a seamless participant journey.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging event technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration & Strategic Alignment: work with internal teams and external partners to deliver website management, app optimisation and digital marketing initiatives in line with business goals.
  • Manage key internal and external relationships at a strategic level, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, content, operations and technology.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in CRM management, marketing automation and email marketing, ideally with HubSpot expertise.
  • Strong track record in digital campaign management including SEO, PPC, Google Ads, Meta campaigns and cross‑channel advertising.
  • Experience with event tech tools and confidence in managing integrations across platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with a solid understanding of marketing data segmentation and optimisation.
  • Technical aptitude – basic programming skills (HTML and CSS) are a plus.
  • A strategic mindset for using technology to enhance event logistics, streamline processes and deliver a competitive advantage.
  • Curiosity and commitment to staying current with emerging event technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at a strategic level internally and externally.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented and results‑driven mindset with strong ownership of projects.
  • Fluency in English (German language skills a plus).
