We are seeking an experienced Simulation Engineer with a strong background in metal additive manufacturing, specifically Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF). The ideal candidate will have at least years of experience in simulating metal builds, materials and process modeling, and working with advanced simulation tools like Abaqus Event Series and Calculix Model Change. A research mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer expectations—especially across international clients in Europe and the US—are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Perform layer-by-layer simulation of LPBF metal builds.

Model materials behavior and thermal/mechanical processes in manufacturing.

Validate simulation results with software and real-world outcomes.

Collaborate closely with international customers as the single point of contact (SPOC).

Support R&D activities and contribute to software validation studies.

Required Skills

Minimum years of simulation experience in LPBF or similar metal additive processes.

Hands-on expertise with Abaqus Event Series and Calculix.
