Job summary

Galaxus Deutschland GmbH in Germany seeks a Maintenance Lead to build the maintenance strategy for our new automated logistics facility in Neuenburg am Rhein from the ground up, spanning CMMS, spare parts, and shift-ready operations. If you love organizing complexity, you''ll shape standards and workflows in a fast-paced ramp-up.

You will work closely with Operations to ensure a cohesive, scalable technical organization, implementing durable processes and driving measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid technical background in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Fluent in English and German (C1 level each).
• Hands-on experience with CMMS systems and structured maintenance planning.
• Ability to build structures in dynamic ramp-up environments.
• Adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Build the maintenance strategy from ground up – preventive, corrective and condition-based.
• Design and implement maintenance processes, standards and KPI logic that work in practice.
• Setup and structuring of the CMMS including maintenance logic and workflows.
• Define and roll out the spare parts strategy.
• Prepare the technical organisation for shift operations.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Build or scale maintenance structures to ensure reliable operations.

Profil
