Job summary

Galaxus Deutschland GmbH sucht einen Flow Manager Inbound für den Aufbau des neuen Hochtechnologie-Fulfillment-Centers in Neuenburg am Rhein. Sie steuern Echtzeit-Inbound-Prozesse, arbeiten eng mit Control Center und Operations Teams zusammen und sichern eine zuverlässige Lieferkette von Tag eins an.

Sie bringen eine fundierte Logistik-Ausbildung, starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und gute Englischkenntnisse mit.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich Logistik, Supply Chain oder vergleichbare praktische Erfahrung im Lagerbetrieb.
• Fähigkeit, Materialflussdaten, Dashboards und KPIs schnell zu lesen, um Abweichungen zu identifizieren.
• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch, auch zu Schichtleitungen, Control Center und Support.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse (Niveau B2); Unterstützung bei der Verbesserung der Sprachkompetenz.
• Eigeninitiative, Problemlösungskompetenz und klare Entscheidungsfähigkeit.
• Respekt vor Menschenwürde und menschlichen Auswirkungen von Entscheidungen.

Responsibilities

• Steuerung des Inbound-Materialflusses in Echtzeit vom Wareneingang bis zur Einlagerung, um stabile Durchsatzmengen und garantierte Lieferzeiten sicherzustellen.
• Abgleich der täglichen Inbound-Aktivitäten mit Bedarf, Schichtplanung, Personalstand, Arbeitsplatzverfügbarkeit, WMS/WCS-Prioritäten und Systemkapazität.
• Koordination der Öffnung, Zuweisung und Nutzung von Arbeitsplätzen auf der Lagerfläche nach betrieblichen Prioritäten.
• Erster Ansprechpartner bei Prozessabweichungen, Materialstaus, Engpässen und operativen Hindernissen im Inbound-Betrieb.
• Klare Kommunikation von betrieblichen Updates an Stakeholder und Eskalation offener Probleme.
• Identifikation wiederkehrender Probleme und gemeinsame Umsetzung von Verbesserungen mit Control Center und Betriebsteams.

As Flow Manager Inbound, you are the real-time link between the warehouse floor and the Control Center. You keep inbound material flows stable, transparent, and demand-driven by connecting people, systems, and quick operational decisions in our new high-tech fulfillment center. You will help shape our inbound operations from day one.

• Steer inbound material flows in real time, from goods receipt through to putaway, to ensure stable throughput and reliable lead times
• Align daily inbound activities with demand, shift planning, staffing levels, workstation availability, WMS/WCS priorities, and system capacity
• Coordinate the opening, allocation, and use of workstations on the warehouse floor according to operational priorities
• Act as the first point of contact for process deviations, material jams, bottlenecks, and operational obstacles in inbound operations
• Communicate operational updates clearly to the stakeholders, escalating unresolved issues when required
• Identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvements to inbound processes together with the Control Center and operational teams

Profil

• Completed vocational training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or comparable practical experience in warehouse operations; experience in an automated warehouse or distribution center is a strong plus
• Able to read material-flow data, dashboards, and KPIs quickly to identify deviations, bottlenecks, and capacity risks
• Very good communication skills to communicate clearly and confidently with shift leads, Control Center colleagues, technical support, and other stakeholders
• Very good communication skills in German
• Good communication skills in English (Level B2). If you're not at that level yet, we support you achieving the needed competencies with language classes
