Job summary

Galaxus Germany GmbH, a top Swiss e-commerce platform with a new automated logistics facility in Neuenburg am Rhein, seeks a maintenance strategist to design the entire maintenance function from the ground up. You will shape preventive, corrective and condition-based approaches and align with operations.

You will implement CMMS-driven processes, define KPI logic, roll out spare parts strategy, and prepare the technical organization for shift operations in a dynamic ramp-up environment.

Qualifications

• Led or scaled maintenance structures previously.
• Solid technical background in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Fluent in English and German at C1 level.
• Hands-on CMMS experience and structured maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Build the maintenance strategy from the ground up – preventive, corrective and condition-based
• Design and implement maintenance processes, standards and KPI logic that actually work in practice
• Setup and structuring of the CMMS including maintenance logic and workflows
• Define and roll out the spare parts strategy
• Prepare the technical organisation for shift operations
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure integration across functions

Your responsibilities

• You build the maintenance strategy from the ground up – preventive, corrective and condition-based
• Design and implement maintenance processes, standards and KPI logic that actually work in practice
• Setup and structuring of the CMMS including maintenance logic and workflows
• The spare parts strategy? Yours to define and roll out
• Get the technical organisation ready for shift operations
• Work hand in hand with Operations – because a logistics facility doesn't launch and work in a silo

Your skills

• You've built or scaled maintenance structures before – and you know what it takes to get them right
• A solid technical background in mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• You're fluent in both English and German (C1 level each)
• Hands-on experience with CMMS systems and structured maintenance planning
• Ability to build structures in dynamic ramp-up environments
• The capacity to adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
