SOFTSWISS continues to expand its team and is looking for a Legal & Compliance Officer.

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Legal Officer will be a key member of our iGaming team, responsible for managing legal operations and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role involves legal expertise and people management, including leading a small team and collaborating with internal stakeholders. It offers a clear growth path toward a Deputy Head of Legal position.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage legal entity setup, oversee their ongoing management, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
2. Lead licensing applications with relevant regulatory bodies in iGaming.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
4. Develop and improve B2B compliance processes, including client Due Diligence (DD) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
5. Coordinate with compliance and risk teams to verify client documentation and compliance.
6. Work with AML, finance, and operations teams to provide legal guidance and mitigate risks.
7. Stay updated on changes in iGaming laws and regulations.
8. Advise management on corporate governance, contracts, and risk management.
