Your role

As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter (m / f / d) at Kipu Quantum you will play a key role in driving the growth of our company. You will identify and engage the brightest minds bringing them on board to become part of our exceptional team. From day one you will have the opportunity to experience strategic HR management up close, recruit top talent, ensure long-term retention and actively shape our start‑ups people strategy.

In the long term you will have the opportunity to take ownership of additional areas along the employee lifecycle such as People Operations, Employee Development or Employee Retention.

Your responsibilities
  • Active Sourcing & Outreach: Leverage multiple channels to proactively identify and engage suitable candidates, supporting both operational and technical teams in their hiring efforts.
  • Candidate Experience: Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process – from crafting job postings to extending offers – ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct interviews while maintaining accurate records in our HR software (Personio).
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates to meet long‑term hiring needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (e.g. time‑to‑hire, quality‑of‑hire, applicant volume, conversion rates) to continuously optimise the hiring process.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen our employer brand, create compelling content and campaigns, and position Kipu Quantum as a top deep‑tech employer.
  • Employee Lifecycle Support: Assist the People & Culture team in initiatives across the employee lifecycle, expanding your expertise in People Operations, Employee Development and Employee Retention.
Your profile
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship in Business Psychology, Natural Sciences or related fields, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Initial hands‑on experience in recruiting, ideally in a deep‑tech company or start‑up.
  • Interest in deep tech, software development or natural sciences, as you will be recruiting for highly specialised technical roles.
  • Ideally experience with HR software such as Personio, Workday or HiBob.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging candidates.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage a high volume of applicants efficiently.
  • Hands‑on attitude, willing to take on responsibilities beyond the core role within People & Culture.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English to collaborate effectively with our international team and talent pool.
