As Upway’s (Junior) Content Creator (f/m/d) you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, customer‑centric content that boosts brand awareness and drives our mission of sustainable mobility. From crafting catchy social media captions to producing impactful blogs, videos, and newsletters, you’ll bring our brand to life across platforms. Your work will inspire audiences, drive engagement, and help shape Upway’s voice as we continue to grow.

Your Mission
  • Social Media Management:
    • Own the social media content calendar, planning and scheduling posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
    • Create visually compelling and on‑brand posts.
    • Develop content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and attracts new followers.
    • Stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies to leverage emerging opportunities.
    • Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments and messages to build a loyal audience.
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics to refine strategies and optimize growth.
    • Create visually compelling and on‑brand content (video & image).
    • When producing content, you use your smartphone to film, take photos, and work both in front of and behind the camera.
  • CRM and Email Marketing:
    • Create compelling email campaigns that resonate with our audience, drive engagement, and boost customer loyalty.
    • Develop visually appealing templates and layouts with an eye for design that aligns with our brand guidelines.
    • Monitor and analyze email performance, applying insights to improve open rates, click‑throughs, and conversions.
  • Campaign & Website Activation
    • Implement and bring to life marketing campaigns, including sales promotions and calendar‑based initiatives, ensuring all content is engaging, creative, and on‑brand.
    • Collaborate on the development and integration of website animations to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 1–2 years in content creation, copywriting, or a related role with strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends.
  • Experience creating content that drives engagement and conversions, not just reach.
  • Is confident on camera and can produce polished content end‑to‑end using Instagram Edits, CapCut, and other editing platforms.
  • Understands how to create top‑performing content: strong hooks, pacing, first‑frame impact, subtitles, sound selection, and visual storytelling.
  • Has a strong aesthetic sense and keeps content aligned with our brand Writing Skills: Passionate storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills in German.
  • Creativity: Skilled in designing engaging visual content using tools like Figma or Canva, with basic video editing as a plus.
  • Email Marketing: Experienced with platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
  • Work Style: Self‑motivated and eager to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
  • Languages: Native‑level fluency in German and excellent command of English.
  • Interest: A genuine passion for bicycles and e‑bikes is a significant advantage.
