Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Consultant to support customers in implementing and optimising ServiceNow ITOM solutions. You will work across IT infrastructure and application management, guiding projects and presenting to clients in German and English.

The role requires a strong foundation in ITOM concepts, ITIL knowledge and the ability to train teams while driving proactive improvements. A structured, independent work style and excellent communication are essential.

Senior ServiceNow ITOM Consultant

About the Company

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting customers with the implementation, optimisation and ongoing development of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. The role is suited to a technically minded consultant with experience in IT infrastructure, application management and related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and assess existing IT infrastructure, environments and ITOM processes.

• Independently manage projects and sub-projects, ensuring successful delivery.

• Conduct customer workshops, training sessions and technical presentations.

• Lead customer meetings in German and English.

• Develop concepts and strategies for future ITOM solutions.

• Support project implementation as a functional and/or technical consultant.

• Provide guidance, mentoring and coaching to project team members.

• Contribute to presales activities and support business development where required.

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in infrastructure and application management.

• A foundational understanding of IT infrastructure administration and monitoring.

• Understanding of IT as a service organisation.

• Experience with ITIL, ESM or ITSM is advantageous.

• Knowledge of CMDB and CSDM is desirable.

• Familiarity with monitoring solutions and ITOM concepts and processes is beneficial.

• JavaScript knowledge is an advantage.

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification is desirable.

• Fluency in German and very good written and spoken English.
