A leading catering firm is seeking an IT SUPPORT to provide technical assistance regarding hardware, software, and network issues. The role involves troubleshooting problems via various communication channels, installing and maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring IT security compliance. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and preferably some help desk experience. The position requires presence in Frankfurt or nearby, with potential travel to Berlin and Munich.

Qualifikationen

  • Previous experience in help desk or technical support is preferred.
  • Must be located in Frankfurt or nearby and be able to travel to various locations (Berlin, Munich).

Aufgaben

  • Provide technical assistance to employees or customers regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via Phone, E-Mail, Chat or in Person.
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Monitor IT systems to identify potential issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Document issues and solutions in ticketing systems.
  • Set up workstations for new employees (hardware, software, accounts).
  • Complete required security documentation and ensure all items are correctly labeled.
  • Ensure IT security compliance such as applying security policies and monitoring for risks.
