Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT initiatives within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end project management, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery while working closely with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with agreed objectives.
Stakeholder Management
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with senior leadership, project teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment, transparency, and ongoing engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource & Budget Management
  • Plan, allocate, and manage project resources, including people, budget, and tools.
  • Monitor resource utilization and ensure efficient delivery against agreed timelines and deliverables.
Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation paths to minimize delivery impact.
Quality & Governance
  • Define and enforce quality standards, project governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standards.
Change Management
  • Manage changes to scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables through formal change control processes.
  • Assess impacts and communicate changes clearly to all stakeholders.
Monitoring, Reporting & Communication
  • Track project progress, performance metrics, and milestones against baselines.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
Vendor & Third‑Party Management
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure alignment with project objectives and delivery expectations.
Continuous Improvement
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions and post‑project reviews.
  • Capture insights and apply best practices to improve future project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 12+ years of overall professional experience, with proven success in managing complex IT projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional, high‑pressure initiatives involving technical and product teams.
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making capabilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and managing distributed teams.

Professional fluency in German and English (spoken, written, and reading) is mandatory for stakeholder communication, coordination, and documentation.
