Join us as an IT Architect Lab Environment and play a pivotal role in designing and operating a modern data experimentation platform on Azure Databricks. You will directly enable our global teams to accelerate AI and ML innovation while ensuring governance, cost efficiency and platform reliability.

What You'll Do

• Design and evolve the enterprise-wide ML / AI lab environment on Azure Databricks to enable scalable, secure and governed experimentation.
• Architect the core infrastructure that supports end-to-end ML / AI workflows from ideation to industrialization.
• Define environment lifecycle stages including provisioning, versioning and decommissioning.
• Enable self-service orchestration and standardized experimentation workflows for data scientists and ML engineers.
• Ensure alignment with security, governance and DevOps standards in collaboration with platform and architecture teams.
• Implement best practices for modular, reusable and cost-efficient platform design.
• Serve as a key enabler in the company’s AI innovation pipeline, driving technical excellence and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related fields. Preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Certification, Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Architect
• Several years in data platform architecture with some years focused on Databricks or similar ML / AI platforms
• Deep understanding of Databricks architecture, Spark, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, Terraform, CI / CD pipelines
• Proven experience designing scalable secure environments for ML / AI experimentation and delivery
• Familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF or similar and a structured approach to solution design
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and collaborating with diverse teams
• Experience working in international teams across multiple time zones and cultures
• Business fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Strong cross-functional alignment skills with experience working in global multicultural teams
• Takes ownership and accountability, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
