About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager (DACH) to join our HR team. Based in Germany, you will take full responsibility for leading and delivering HR strategy and operations across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This is a key business-facing role that will partner closely with local leadership, line managers, and employees to drive engagement, ensure legal compliance, and implement people initiatives that align with both local needs and broader company objectives.

You’ll also collaborate with global HR functions and Centres of Excellence to help shape and roll out programs in areas like talent, reward, and systems across the region.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the primary HR contact for all people-related matters across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Provide expert advice and hands-on support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and talent development
  • Ensure full compliance with employment laws and practices across the DACH region
  • Partner with local leadership to support organisational changes, engagement, and cultural development
  • Lead and implement HR processes and initiatives, such as talent reviews, succession planning, and employee surveys
  • Support payroll and benefits processes in collaboration with finance and external providers
  • Liaise with global HR teams to align regional practices with company-wide policies and systems (e.g. Workday)
  • Contribute to or lead regional HR projects, including policy development and system rollouts
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven HR experience in a generalist or HR Manager role with responsibility across Germany, Austria, and / or Switzerland
  • Strong working knowledge of German employment law (knowledge of Austrian and Swiss legislation is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent support
  • Ability to influence and coach managers at all levels
  • Experience working in an international or matrixed organisation
  • Fluency in German and English is essential (French is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
