Head of Unit (f/m/d) Registries Development (part-/full-time)

We’re flexible! We’re happy to receive applications in English or German.
This position is located inHelsinki.

In this role, you will lead a team of architects and DevOps-specialists to operate and modernize the EEX Group Registry-solutions. That means: besides maintaining and operating the current system landscape you and your colleagues will define and create the future EEX registries platform and build it together with an international partner. You will have cross-divisional responsibility for technical specification, IT architecture and IT Operations and will also coordinate work with external development providers.

We're looking for a professional engineer and leader that takes an innovative and passionate approach to technology to solve problems and who is capable of driving change. Your work will directly influence the European power market – a growing market that is in search of further innovation.

• Proven track record in developing and operating of business applications as well as highly available, sensitive workloads in the Cloud
• Experience in leading teams working with Java and Cloud based technology
• Know-how and hands-on experience with Cloud (preferably Azure or GCP), Java/SpringBoot, IT Security as well as ideally in the current technology-stack (Web API, C#, SQL Server, Angular)
• Capability to manage different sets of stakeholders
• Flexibility and resilience to work in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills on the management levelin English and German
• Mind-set of an influencer how wants to shape the future of operational models within IT
• Willingness to travel to meet colleagues from Leipzig, Paris as well as your offshore delivery team in India (overall working time outside Helsinki expected to be < 10 %)
