For our Product Group Separation Systems within Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH, we are currently looking for a Head of Product Management Filtration & TFF Systems (x|f|m) in full-time at our headquarters in Goettingen, with the opportunity to work some days remotely. The owner of this role is responsible for leading a global team of Product Managers within the respective cluster of products. The Head of Product Management Filtration & TFF Systems (x|f|m) is required to bring strategic portfolio management, decision‑making and ruthless prioritization, such as seamless communication across customers, sales teams, and technical product development to ensure alignment and success. Your Responsibilities

• Manage a global team of Product Managers.
• Develop and implement product & portfolio strategy.
• Foster collaboration within teams and cross‑functional groups to meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Advocate for the product cluster with leadership, providing updates on strategy, trends, and opportunities.
• Set and monitor KPIs to drive growth, reviewing metrics to identify actions and optimize performance.
• Conduct reviews ensuring business impact and fit with customer needs, leading improvement & recommendation.
• Leverage market intel and customer interactions to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
• Drive innovation by leading teams to develop agile concepts, deliver prototypes, and act on feedback.
• Prioritize company goals in road‑mapping, ensuring investments focus on products with competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Seasoned leader with long‑term professional experience in the Life Science | Pharma industry.
• A proven track record in Product Management and a drive to innovate and grow.
• Customer‑facing and cross‑functional experience (PD, Operations, Sales, Marketing etc.).
• Role‑model leader and team player able to rally all relevant parties to focus on key priorities, bringing diverse teams on the same page, facilitating cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical & strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and networking skills at eye level with senior leadership.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, flexible environment managing multiple priorities.
• Business fluent in English; German skills will be a plus.
• Willingness to travel globally (approx. 30%).
