We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing (f/m/d) to lead our global Marketing efforts. The successful candidate will lead our brand and marketing efforts and develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our groundbreaking digital wallet solution.

What You’ll Own
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the company\'s business objectives, positioning the company as a thought leader in the space.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the company\'s brand identity, messaging, and positioning across all channels, ensuring consistency and driving brand awareness and equity.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with your product marketing manager, product management, sales, and customer success teams to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, including new product launches and updates.
  • Demand Generation: Drive lead generation and nurturing initiatives through various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, webinars, and partner/channel programs.
  • Content Marketing: Develop and execute a content marketing strategy, creating and distributing high-quality, relevant content (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, blogs, videos) to engage target audiences and support demand generation efforts.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee and optimise digital marketing efforts, including website and search engine optimisation and marketing (SEO/SEM), social media marketing, email marketing, and other online campaigns.
  • Marketing Operations: Manage the marketing technology stack, lead management processes, campaign execution, and performance tracking and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising return on investment (ROI).
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyse marketing performance data, provide insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing strategies and investments.
What You Bring
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand and performance marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS or other software/tech industries.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools and CRM software.
  • You know how to balance strategy with execution, you can develop positioning and also write the deck.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, channels, tactics, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or German (native-level in at least one; German considered a big plus).

Desirable:

  • Experience operating globally, with specific expertise in the European and US markets.
  • Understanding of the Insurance sector.
  • Experience in launching global products.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in budgeting and ownership of marketing P&L.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth in a B2B industry.
  • Experience in building and managing teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in marketing automation tools and technology platforms, including CRM systems.
  • Strategic Execution: Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth in a B2B industry.
  • Flexible working: Ability to perform in a flexible working environment where the team is distributed.
  • Willingness to travel: Within Europe / US for events and occasional team meetings.
