Principle duties and essential functions

• Definition, development and evaluation of high-speed communication electronic modules for data communication
• Product concept development and product specification
• Component selection, qualification and support of CAD library element creation
• Creation of schematics and PCB designs including creation of PCB production and assembly data
• Alignment with PCB manufacturer and Contract Manufacturer (CM) for PCB assembly
• Module bring-up and support of FPGA and SW integration and module test
• Documentation of design and test/qualification results
• Planning and management of development projects

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
• Good knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and simulation
• Experience with Mentor design and simulation tools (DxDesigner, Expedition, Hyperlynx) would be beneficial
• Team player, self-motivated person
• Well-organized, focused on solution
• Strong communication skills
• Good English and German language skills
