Responsibilities

The Global Trade Technology Management Manager shall be responsible for the regional maintenance and continuous improvement of the Collins Aerospace TM program; this includes driving GT procedures, classification tool (xClass), and training for export and import classification of Collins products to the regional classifier focal network and businesses.

  • Regional subject matter expert on export and import classification determination.
  • Utilise Collins Aerospace procedures, work instructions and tools to determine export and import classifications for Collins Aerospace products
  • Provide oversight, support and continue to build the regional classifier focal network over several regional sites
  • Use Collins classification performance metrics (data analytics) to evaluate the regional classifier focal’s determinations and provide feedback to the classifier
  • Support classification verification/escalation process for complex classifications
  • Further develop regional standard work for extra territorial controls
  • Support enhancement of the regional classification decision trees and onboarding new classifier focals onto xClass.
  • Collaborate with regional and global GT teams and participate in GT meetings
Experience / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience OR advanced degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Have adequate computer skills to use internal Collins Aerospace systems. (e.g., SAP, Outlook, Microsoft O365, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
