Qualifikationen

We are looking for a Global Marketing Director, evoZero (f/m/d) who will build the global marketing function inside Heidelberg Materials' most ambitious investment area. The role is based in Heidelberg, Germany.

You'll design what "great" looks like for a global B2B marketing engine - one that doesn't just follow, but leads the sustainability movement in industrial materials. You will also be the example for what a modern global marketing organization should look like for Heidelberg Materials.

The Marketing Director, evoZero will build and lead a modern B2B marketing organization to drive global awareness, brand authority, and demand generation for evoZero.

Reporting directly to the VP Global Sales & Marketing, evoZero, you will define the strategy, infrastructure, and talent model for a data-driven marketing function. You'll position evoZero as the category leader for decarbonized cement and help shape the future of marketing across the Heidelberg Materials Group.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
  • Define and build the global marketing function for evoZero - including brand, communications, digital, and performance marketing.
  • Develop a modern B2B marketing strategy leveraging account-based marketing (ABM), AI, automation, and analytics to drive measurable pipeline impact.
  • Build and lead a small, high-impact team of specialists (content, digital, analytics, field, channel, and brand) while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and experimentation.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Sustainability leaders to ensure unified storytelling and clear differentiation in the market.
  • Establish evoZero's voice and identity through integrated campaigns, thought leadership, and digital experiences across global channels.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs that quantify marketing impact on awareness, engagement, and revenue.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships; drive efficiency and brand consistency globally.
  • Influence the future shape of global marketing at the enterprise level.
YOUR PROFILE
  • A modern B2B marketing leader with 10-15 years' experience building or transforming marketing functions within industrials, technology, or sustainability sectors.
  • Experienced in brand building, ABM, content strategy, and demand generation - ideally for a scale-up or enterprise that has transformed the function.
  • Hands-on and data-driven, equally comfortable setting strategy and executing it.
  • Strong leader and coach - able to recruit, develop, and inspire a diverse international team.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to align marketing to commercial outcomes.
  • Creative storyteller who can translate complex sustainability or technical topics into compelling narratives.
  • Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a plus.
  • Based in Heidelberg, Germany (preferred) or elsewhere in the EU with regular travel to Heidelberg (~25%).
