Zusammenfassung

A leading Payroll Consultancy in Germany is seeking a German-speaking Payroll Consultant for a 7-month contract. In this role, you will manage client requirements, validate payroll solutions, and ensure system readiness for payroll operations. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of local payroll regulations, system configuration expertise, and is fluent in both English and German. A hands-on mindset and experience in international payroll projects are preferred.

Overview

Our client is a leading Payroll Consultancy and they are looking for a German speaking Payroll Consultant for a 7 month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to capture all payroll requirements and guide them through workshops, configuration steps and systems setup.
  • Validate and configure customer payroll solution and integrations in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Assist and support with data mapping, migration, YTD preparation and accuracy checks.
  • Manage all system testing phases (SIT, UAT, parallel runs, etc.) and address system configuration / integration issues with global teams.
  • Oversee go-live activities ensuring payroll system readiness.
  • Track project progress, documentation, and collaborate with project managers and project team to ensure timely milestone delivery.
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of local payroll and time regulations in Germany and proven expertise in payroll system configuration and integrations.
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to explore and apply innovative solutions.
  • Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills and a client-focused, collaborative mindset.
  • Previous experience working on international payroll projects is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely, manage tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, global and project teams.
