We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. Your role will involve building reliable backend services and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring smooth API integrations, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will combine hands-on coding with problem-solving to shape SCAYLE Payments’ products for secure and seamless e-commerce payment experiences.

What you will do

• Build internal & external RESTful APIs and background jobs in a high-scaling architecture
• Participate in design and application architecture decisions with the Lead Engineer
• Work with agile processes tailored to the team’s needs
• Implement continuous deployment using Gitlab Pipelines and AWS Elastic Container Service, and monitor applications with tools like Datadog

Who you are

• 3-5 years of experience with PHP 8 (Symfony) and solid coding skills
• Strong knowledge of Vue 3 Framework
• Experience in building complex, user-friendly products
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with AWS, Git, RDBMS
• Passionate about writing efficient, maintainable code and maintaining code quality
• Willing to work in an English-speaking environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Experience creating integration tests
