We offer you an influential role in a fast-growing company:

HeyJobs is seeking a highly motivated AI Builder/Engineer to support the CEO and a small dedicated team in launching and scaling our newest AI recruiting product.

We are running a Proof of Concept (PoC) during Q1-Q2 2026 for a potential new and exciting product/business line at HeyJobs, leveraging our existing infrastructure and assets, but utilizing new technologies to accelerate it.

The challenge: Prove that 90%+ of a complex, multi-step service workflow can be automated using AI- faster and cheaper than human experts.

The setup: A small, entrepreneurial team (founder, PM, domain expert, sales, 2 working students, and you) working like a startup within HeyJobs. Low hierarchy, high autonomy, fast iteration.

Your job is to make it technically real.

🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs

• As the technical lead, you will own and implement the tech that makes this PoC reality - fast
• Drive technical decisions and implementation from 0 to working PoC system
• Leverage SaaS tools, AI APIs, and workflow automation (Langdock Workflows, n8n, Zapier, Make.com, LangFlow) to iterate rapidly rather than building everything from scratch
• Work across the full stack: LLMs/AI APIs, workflow automation, integrations, simple interfaces, Python scripting
• Pragmatically interface with existing HeyJobs infrastructure to leverage data, tools, and capabilities where beneficial (our stack is Ruby on Rails, AWS, Python, React)
• Make product-technical trade-offs and propose creative solutions when hitting roadblocks
• Work very closely with founder, PM, domain expert, and sales—and take over work as needed to ship
• Document what works, what doesn't, and define the path to 90%+ automation

🤝 What sets you up for success

• Proven experience in launching PoCs or MVPs from scratch in fast-paced, environments
• Hands‑on experience implementing LLM/AI products and working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, etc.)
• Strong bias for leveraging SaaS, integrations, and workflow tools instead of custom development to achieve results quickly
• Solid generalist tech foundation (APIs, scripting, Python, basic frontend, LLMs, workflow automation, make/buy decisions)
• Product mindset and willingness to take over product work as needed (e.g., defining requirements, testing with users, iterating on UX)
• AI‑accelerated workflow (we use Claude, Cursor, Langdock incl. Workflows, n8n, various AI tools)
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you take ownership, drive your own work, and don't need hand‑holding
• Strong team player comfortable with low hierarchy and collaborative decision‑making
• Based in Berlin with the ability to work onsite at our Kreuzberg office, or located within the EU and able to work in the Berlin time zone.
• Fluent in English

Bonus:

• Experience with voice/chat AI tools or conversational AI interfaces
• Experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, etc.)
