Jobbeschreibung

Hannover

Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — we’ve got huge goals.

Together with the Hannover Region and Hannover's public transport operator, ÜSTRA, we have been operating the “sprinti”, one of the most successful on-demand public transport projects in Germany with around 150,000 passengers every month, for over four years.

As a Fleet Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations and performance of our vehicle fleet for the “sprinti” service in Hannover. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from around the world and work closely with the local team to ensure the fleet is safe, well-maintained, and ready for service. The role is hands-on and varied, giving you the chance to learn quickly and see the direct impact of your work on the business and the community.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure the sprinti fleet is maintained in excellent condition by proactively managing day-to-day operations to meet key performance indicators
  • Coordinate, track, and prioritize maintenance work and vehicle inspection with partners, vendors, and local fleet leads
  • Communicate real-time status updates and provide visibility into fleet performance internally and externally
  • Manage stakeholder relations and build strong working relationships with partners, vendors, drivers, and other stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to develop scalable processes and tools to increase operating efficiency and performance
Qualifications
  • Reliable and punctual; you are a dependable employee and colleague
  • A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
  • Hands-on; you are ready to roll up your sleeves and solve problems as they come
  • You remain calm under stress and always find the right tone, whether in discussions with the management level of our partners or our drivers
  • Fluent in German (C1 and above) and advanced English (you’ll communicate with international colleagues on a daily basis and should be able to express yourself in English)
  • You have a valid driver's license in Germany, class B
  • You are able to work onsite, from Via’s service depots in Hannover
What We Offer
  • Joining a global employer with over 750 mobility projects in 50+ countries
  • The opportunity to truly have a positive impact on a large employee group and local communities
  • Urban Sports Club membership
  • A beautiful office in the heart of Hannover
  • State of the art hardware for you to perform your work worry free
