Executive Search - Merchant and Acquiring Account Executive (SME) Frankfurt
In Europe, the company has significant grow opportunity within sectors which don’t accept electronic payments or where transaction penetration is below market average. The Acquirer and Merchant Client Manager will engage with key acquirer and merchant clients in the Central Europe region to drive deeper relationships and additional mutual value. The Acquirer and Merchant Client Manager will engage with clients to continue to serve their needs and provide added value from the company’s solutions and products. The position is part of the Merchant & Acquirer Organisation and is based in Frankfurt
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a book of key acquirer and/or merchant clients and provide account management services
- Drive penetration and usage of additional products and services of the company
- Engage with clients to determine their strategic needs and how the company can help them meet their goals in supporting consumer use cases
- Identify the highest opportunity engagements for expanded relationships
- Provide subject matter expertise to clients company’s products and services
- Work with Product, Communication, Marketing and Client Support Services as appropriate to meet the needs of key client partners
- Review competitor and market activity to ensure propositions remain differentiated as well as leverage overall market expansion trends
- Focus on customers and stakeholders (internal and external) as a trusted and committed representative of our company
- Deliver on priorities in time and the required quality
- Significant experience in the payments industry with focus on Merchants and Acquirers
- Client management and sales experience is essential
- High energy, results oriented team member with at least 10 years business experience and a proven track record of working in growing organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to be a proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels
- Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment
- Sound knowledge and experience of relevant technologies and applications
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the commercial drivers for both our company and its clients and stakeholders
- A digital savvy self-starter with a strong understanding of acceptance domain
- Be open minded and excited about the future technologies, willing to learn, work and engage in a multi-cultural environment
- Be able to focus on the agreed target/result, rather than the tasks along the way and strive to achieve this at pace.
- Strong selling skills and ability to work in ambiguity and a fast paced environment.
- Be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification.
