A leading aerospace company in Donauwörth is seeking an Environment Control System Design Responsible to manage the development of ECS systems. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a System Designer and Engineer, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong skills in system engineering. In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the department Environmental Control Systems (ECS) in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new Environment Control System Design Responsible (d/f/m). Your location: At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Lead the development and/or technical support of ECS systems as a system Responsible, and applying System Engineering referential
Be accountable for the system performance
Coordinate all system activities on your perimeter: Identify the activities, commit on deliverables, communicate and subcontract activities when needed
Work in close cooperation with industry and customer support, as well as your interfaces in the design office
Manage suppliers activities on your perimeter
Be the focal point for the system in front of Final Assembly Line, Customer Support and other Engineering departments
More than 5 years of Experience a System Designer and Engineer
Bachelor's Degree within engineering, aerospace, electrical, mechanical or similar
You have skills and strong interest in system engineering (requirements, validation, verification), equipments development process and Environmental Control Systems, as well as thermal systems
You are autonomous and agile in taking decisions
Open minded and team spirit are a must
Welcome problem and accountability attitude are key
English: negotiation level / German or French would be a plus
