At DKB Code Factory, you'd be taking on a leading role in our Pega chapter. Your mission will be to lead and grow a top-of-the-line chapter of Pega engineers at the heart of DKB’s digital transformation. Our Pega teams build digital self-service solutions that automate operations, reduce manual work, and enable fast, reliable customer service. Your engineering leadership will help shape the experience of millions of customers, making banking more efficient, intuitive, and human.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Your Own Pega Foundation: Gain a solid overview of Pega low-code technology, including the case lifecycle, rules-based architecture, deployment with branches and pipelines, and testing. Aim to complete your SSA certification within your first 5 months.
  • Grow a High-Performing Team: Support your team's development goals within the first 3 months. Provide regular feedback, career coaching, and structured 360° reviews.
  • Accelerate Delivery: Own the software delivery performance of your Pega teams. Review key metrics within your first 4 months, identify improvement areas, and coach your team to enhance performance.
  • Strengthen Dev-QA Collaboration: Set clear quality goals and foster close collaboration between developers and testers to improve test coverage, automation, and release reliability.
  • Hire and Retain Talent: Support structured hiring to bring in high-performing Pega engineers within your first year who pass probation and deliver value.
  • Foster a Safe Remote Team Culture: Conduct regular 1:1s, build trust, ensure psychological safety, and lead bonding activities.

Qualifications:

  • Software Development: Several years of experience building and delivering software, proficiency in multiple programming languages. Bonus: experience with low-code technology or QA background.
  • Leadership: Experience managing teams of software engineers.
  • Language Skills: Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.
  • Passionate about your work and able to enjoy your free time!
