Job Description
Your responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans for materials, coatings, and components used in heat exchangers, with a focus on Kelvion’s product portfolio and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform mechanical, thermal, and corrosion resistance testing under simulated operating conditions relevant to Kelvion’s production environment.
  • Lead the material qualification process to meet Kelvion’s internal specifications and external customer requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Kelvion’s quality management system.
  • Document and report qualification results for customer approvals and certifications, following Kelvion’s documentation protocols.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and R&D teams to select and validate solutions for new and existing Kelvion products.
  • Support production teams in implementing new materials and technologies, solving technical issues on the shop floor, and optimizing manufacturing processes for Kelvion heat exchangers.
  • Evaluate and improve testing methods, tools, and equipment, considering Kelvion’s continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze and optimise production processes for quality and material efficiency, in line with Kelvion’s operational excellence standards.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in material science, physics, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemistry or a related engineering field.
  • First experience in materials testing and qualification, preferably in the heat exchanger, HVAC, energy, or chemical industry, with a strong preference for experience in Kelvion’s product segments or similar industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with the heat exchanger industry or thermal management systems is a strong advantage; direct experience with Kelvion products or technologies is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of heat‑resistant alloys, composites, and plastics used in Kelvion heat exchangers.
  • Experience with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards for heat exchangers, including Kelvion’s internal quality protocols.
  • Fluent English language skills; knowledge of Polish and German is an added advantage due to Kelvion’s international operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively across departments, including production, R&D, and sales.
